SPI3 XIP, CLK speed up to 100MHz
q2222 last edited by
In the datasheet paragraph 3.17 is mentioned that the SPI3 interface supports XIP and a clock speed up to 100MHz (to be confirmed). In addition all the SPI interfaces support a x8 mode... Does this mean that it should be possible to connect something like an Xcella(TM) compatible PSRAM in the future?- If yes: Does the K210 have a (till now) not mentioned additional MMU that allows to cache the external RAM?

The MMU supports the Bare and Sv39 modes as described in The RISC‐V Instruction Set Manual, Volume II: Privileged Architecture.

The question about XIP was never answered ...
x8 is on spi3 only
there is no official support about mmu
